Workshops: Key Stage 3 & 4

Working closely with the original texts our bespoke workshops cover all key exam requirement areas and can be tailored to your school's specific requirements.

Our workshops take a uniquely playful approach to studying Shakespeare, exploring alternative performance styles that allow students to find new and exciting ways to understand the themes, characters and language of his plays.

Beginning with The Pantaloons performing short extracts of the chosen play, the workshops involve a series of exercises designed to get students on their feet, working as a team and thinking creatively as active participants to bring the text to life for themselves.

The Pantaloons can run a tailored workshop on any one of Shakespeare's plays, keeping the focus on the areas being studied for course work or exams. We may also be able to help with other texts - just ask!

Please note that we are usually restricted to 2 workshop leaders and 35 students per workshop but we may be able to provide more actors to facilitate for larger groups.
