The Pantaloons - making Shakespeare fun!

Available from September 2008, The Pantaloons are pleased to be able to offer schools a number of bespoke workshop packages:

  • Key Stage 2 introduction to Shakespeare workshops
  • Key Stage 3 Shakespeare set text workshops
  • Key Stage 4 Shakespeare workshops

The Pantaloons Workshops for Schools take a uniquely playful approach to studying Shakespeare, exploring alternative performance styles that allow students to find new and exciting ways to understand the themes, characters and language of his plays. Working closely with the original texts our workshops cover all key exam requirement areas and can be tailored to your school’s specific requirements.

We have recently begun working with English and Drama PGCE students at Canterbury Christ Church University, where we deliver workshops on how to make Shakespeare accessible for young people, with great success:
